Joseph A. Gadziala, Sr., 47, of Syracuse, died Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Joseph was a native of Utica and resided on Burdick Ave. in Syracuse for the past 13 years. Joseph was a graduate of Utica Free Academy. He owned and operated Joey G's General Contracting in Syracuse from 2004-2009; prior to that, he worked as a mechanic for many years at several auto shops including Cole Muffler and Brake.
Joseph was predeceased by his parents: Edward S. and Mary A. Talerico Gadziala, and by his siblings: Helena, Dolores and Walter.
Surviving are his fiancé, Tiffany Milazzo, of Syracuse; three children: Joseph Gadziala Jr., of Utica, Michael and Gianna Marie Gadziala, both of Syracuse; two grandchildren: Joseph III and Madison; and a brother: Edward Talerico, of New Port Richey, FL.
Friends may call Wednesday from 4-7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, with a 7 pm funeral service following.
