Blaise G. Gardner

Blaise G. Gardner, 16, lifelong resident of North Syracuse, died Monday, July 4, 2016 at Golisano Children's Hospital. Blaise attended North Syracuse Junior High School and was recently accepted to the STARS Program through OCM Boces in Solvay. He liked playing his PlayStation, was a WWE Fan and listening to music. Blaise enjoyed drawing and was an artistic, creative soul. He loved fishing and swimming with his family and friends. He was kind hearted and never afraid to show his affection.

Blaise was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Ronald Shaver.

Blaise is survived by his mother, Melissa (Joseph) Diabo of North Syracuse; his father, Justin (Nikki Reale) Gardner of North Syracuse; six siblings: Kaleb Gianni, Phoenix Diabo, Michael Gullett, Jazzlyn Gardner, Skylor Diabo, and Sadie Gullett; his maternal grandparents: Anthony (Debbie) Kumiega of Cazenovia, and Cindy-Lynn Briscoe of Hanover, PA; a paternal grandmother, Denise Gardner of North Syracuse; a maternal grandfather, Norman Diabo of North Syracuse; his maternal great grandmother, Marilynn Doll of Odenton, MD; a paternal great grandmother, Janice Shaver of Mattydale; and by a maternal great grandfather, Larry Shay of Lebanon, PA. He also leaves behind his aunts and uncles: Jackie Briscoe of Hanover, PA, Cecelia "Baby Girl" Diabo of North Syracuse, Donald Rockwell of Syracuse, Jake Diabo if Syracuse; a great aunt, Kim Shaver of North Syracuse; and lots of cousins that Blaise loved deeply.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family in c/o Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Road, Mattydale, NY 13211.

Friends may call on Saturday from 3 - 7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home with a funeral service following at 7:00 pm.
