Dolores Gleason

Dolores A. Gleason, 70, of Liverpool, died Monday, November 13th, 2017, at home. Dolores was the daughter of the late John and Mildred (Tumiel) Kuznia and grew up in Mattydale. She was a 1965 graduate of North Syracuse High School.

Dolores worked as a typesetter for more than 20 years. She was a communicant of St. Margaret's Church in Mattydale and St. Joseph the Worker in Liverpool where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. She was an avid reader and music lover who enjoyed cross- stitching.

Dolores was predeceased by her husband of 25 years, Michael Gleason, in 2016.

She is survived by her three children: Louie Curr of Syracuse, Jennifer Wood of Liverpool, and Edward B. Wood, II of Liverpool; two siblings, John Kuznia of Mattydale and Dorothy Kuznia-Nappi of Liverpool; a granddaughter, Ashley Moran; her great granddaughter, Gianna Chavis; three nieces: Jill Simala, Christy Nappi, and Zoe Kuznia; and by several cousins.

Friends may call on Monday from 4 - 7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Prayer Services will begin on Tuesday, 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret's Church. Entombment will be held in Woodlawn Mausoleum, Syracuse.
