Patricia "Patti" Goettel (Boshart)

Patricia "Patti" (Boshart) Goettel, 82, lifelong resident of Syracuse, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Francis House. Patti was a 1950 graduate of North High and was the daughter of the late Allen and Elizabeth (Mors) Boshart.

She retired in 2000 after 42 years as a legal secretary at the Stephen Forward Law Office and the former Bruce Jacobs Law Firm. Patti was a communicant of St. Margaret's Church in Mattydale.

She was predeceased by three siblings, Margaret Engler, Elizabeth C. Boshart, and Ronald Boshart.

Patti is survived by three siblings: Barbara Birdseye of Cicero, Doris Bower and Philipp of Syracuse, and Allen Boshart of Geneseo; her nieces and nephews: Margaret Youngmann, Christine Adamson DVM, Megan Cavo, Mark A. Boshart, Nancy Furcimato, Lynn Pope, Kim Litz, Daniel and Timothy Engler, Melissa Quist, and Diane Boshart; several great nieces & nephews; and by her loving companion, Bailey, her Yorkie Poo.

Friends may call on Thursday from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, with a 12:30 pm Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret's Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
