Janice Roland Golden, 81, entered into rest Wednesday after a battle with cancer. She was born in Plattsburg, NY and was a lifelong resident of Mattydale.
Janice attended North Syracuse High school, and worked on B-17 bombers at the Mattydale Airbase during WWII, Remington Rand, General Electric and Bristol Labs. She was a member of St. Margaret's church for over 50 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Adam Fredrick Golden in 1989.
Surviving are her son: Ronald Mary Kay Golden; her two daughters: Cynthia Paul Haylor and Carrie WarrenWilliams; four grandchildren: Samantha Wright, Christian Golden, Ryan and Laura Williams; and five great-grandchildren: Taylor and Spencer Wright, Emma, Adam and Jack Golden.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 9:30am at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Road, Mattydale. Burial will be in Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse.
