Patrick Green

Patrick Jiff J. Green, 62, of North Syracuse, passed away Sunday at St. Josephs Hospital. Jiff was a native of Mattydale and was the son of the late Herbert Green and Ellen OKeefe Green. He resided in the North Syracuse and Mattydale areas for most of his life and spent four years in Missouri before moving back to North Syracuse in August.
Jiff attended North Syracuse High School. He worked at Roxboro Road Middle School for 8 years prior to becoming a truck driver for the Onondaga County Dept. of Transportation for 27 years and retired in 2000. He was a communicant of St. Margarets Church.
Surviving are his companion, Madeleine Houston; his son, Marshane Green, of Liverpool; his sister, Ellen Heidi DeRoberts, of Stevensville, MT; and his brother, Michael Green, of Durham, NC.
A private graveside service will be held at St. Marys Cemetery, Dewitt. Contributions may be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to St. Josephs Hospital Cardiology Dept., Attn: Administration, 301 Prospect Ave, Syracuse NY 13203.
