Patti Groeger

Patti L. Cole Groeger, 82, formerly of El Cajon, CA went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 13 at James Square Health and Rehabilitation Center in Syracuse, NY. Born in 1924 and a native of Toledo, OH, Mrs. Groeger resided most of her life in Lemon Grove and El Cajon areas before moving to live with her daughter Marcella in Syracuse, NY.
She worked for Kraft Foods and retired in 1977 after 12 years from Thatcher & Hurst in El Cajon as a legal secretary. Patti was a past president of the Junior Women?s Club of Lemon Grove, CA and a member of the El Cajon Wesleyan Church.
She was predeceased by husbands Billy M. Castle, Cecil J. Cole, and Richard Groeger. Surviving are two daughters, Judith Harvey of Fields Landing, CA and Marcella Crysler of Syracuse, NY; two step-children Collette Cole and Colin Cole; a brother, Ralph G. Richardson II of Spring Valley, CA; She had eight grandchildren, Patrick Harvey of Crescent City, CA, Ashea Mills of Gardnier, MT, Winter Harvey and Christian Harvey , both of Portland, OR, Rachel Crysler of Cicero, NY Jami Crysler of Syracuse, NY, Mathew Harvey of Arcadia, CA, Ryan Harvey of Eureka, CA; nine great-grandchildren; two nieces and a nephew.
A Memorial service will be held at the El Cajon Wesleyan Church, 1500 Lexington Ave. , El Cajon, CA. at 2:45 pm on Friday, November 3rd. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer?s Association.
Mom, Sis, Grandma, Great Grandma and Aunt Patti was loved and adored by her family and will be greatly missed.
