Karen A. Dailey Harris, 56, of Franklin Park Apartments in East Syracuse, died Monday at University Hospital. Karen was a native of Syracuse and had resided in the Hammondsport area for many years before returning to the Syracuse area. She was the daughter of the late Asa S. and Rita G. Dailey.
Karen was a 1969 graduate of St. Anthony of Padua High. She was an avid crocheter and made many donations to both the Salvation Army and Rescue Mission at Christmas time.
She was predeceased by her sister, Carol Lehrer in 2003.
Surviving are her daughter: Jennifer Harris of Providence, RI; her two brothers: James Dailey of Syracuse, and Michael Helen Dailey of Liverpool; a sister: Kathleen Angus of East Syracuse, 14 nieces and nephews, many great-nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog Sami Sue.
Funeral Services are Tuesday, 1pm at Krueger Funeral Home Inc., 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, NY. Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
