Frederick A. Hogan, 56, of Kirsch Dr., Mattydale, died Thursday at the VA Medical Center, Syracuse. Syracuse. Mr. Hogan was a lifetime resident of Mattydale. Frederick was a Navy veteran, serving three tours in the Vietnam War. Fred was a Maintenance Engineer for 6 years at the Metropolitan Development Association at the Electronics Pkwy. in Liverpool. Prior to that, he owned and operated Fred?s Place in Williamstown and Fred?s Subs in N. Syracuse. He was a member of the American Legion Post 787 in Cicero, the Syracuse chapter of the Vietnam Veterans and the Disabled American Veterans.
Frederick is survived by his loving wife of 31 years Susanne, 5 sisters Corinne Kraus of Manlius, Trudy Herold of Lyncourt, Diane Miesch of E. Syracuse, Marie Cerelli of Syracuse, Sharron Dann of Palermo, 1 brother James Hogan of Cicero, many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Celebration will be held from 4 to 8 pm at the American Legion Post # 787, 5575 Legionnaire Dr., Cicero. Burial will be private at Pine Plains Cemetery in Clay.
