Amy M. Hunter, 33, of Central Square, died Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. Amy was a native of Mattydale and resided in Central Square for the past 5 years. She was a 1996 graduate of Cicero North Syracuse High School and worked at New Process Gear for five years as a test driver; prior to that she worked at Media Play in Mattydale.
She was predeceased by her aunt, Delores Dee Klochaney, in 2007.
Surviving are her two daughters: Shyanne Goodwin and Chenoa Gillette, both at home; her parents: Tom and June Hunter of Central Square; two sisters: Amanda Scott Seeley Hunter and their children, Natalie and Margaret, of Mattydale, and Amber Hunter of Mattydale; her companion, Tom Gillette; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff at Liverpool Dialysis Center in Liverpool.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 3-7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale with a 7 pm funeral service following. Contributions in Amy's memory may be made to the Children's Trust Fund, c/o/ Focal Point Federal Credit Union, 6555 Ridings Road, Syracuse NY 13206.
