Robert "Bob" L. Indick, 70, of West Molloy Rd., Mattydale, died peacefully at home with his loving family by his side. A native of the North side of Syracuse, he was a son of the late Frank and Mary Indick, and resided in Mattydale since 1967. He worked for many years as an Auto Body Technician for the Nolan Swift's Auto Body and then at Carmen and Dominick's Auto Body both in Syracuse until his retirement in 1999. He then became a well known Antique Dealer in the Central New York area.
Bob was a communicant of St. Margaret's Church, a former member of the Past Times Athletic Club in Syracuse and thoroughly enjoyed his many visits to the Turning Stone Casino.
Bob leaves behind his wife the former Mary Catherine O'Hern, with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage in June. He is also survived by a daughter and son-in-law Denise and John Friebely of Scotch Plains NJ, two sons and daughters-in-law Robert and Amy Indick of Central Square, Michael and Eliza Indick of Cicero, three sisters Shirley Pollastro of Liverpool, Barbara Farsaci and Carol Engler both of North Syracuse, two brothers Frank Indick of Syracuse, Joseph Indick of Mattydale, eight Grandchildren Michael, Jennifer, Bobby, Angelo, Brian, Jack, Jessica and Lily and two great grandsons Max and Mason.
Friends may call Monday from 5-8 pm at Krueger Funeral Home Inc., 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Services will be 9:30 am Tuesday at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Margaret's Church in Mattydale. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
