Benjamin "Benny" Jiminez, 32, of Clay, died Friday, December 9, as a result of an accidental overdose at St. Joseph's Hospital. Benny grew up in the Ithaca area and resided in Syracuse for three years before moving to Clay within the past year.
He worked in the food service industry for most of his life and most recently was employed by the Crown Plaza Hotel. Benny was a member of Narcotics Anonymous and loved hiking and nature in general. He was best known to his friends for being a loving and giving person. Even after his death, Benny was able to help multiple recipients through organ donation.
He was predeceased by his father, Benjamin Jiminez.
Benny is survived by his two daughters, Mekayla and Emily of New York City; his mother, Susan Stark of Binghamton; his significant other, Nicole Ziparo and her children: Kylie and Kiera with whom he resided, a maternal grandfather, John Stark of FL; and many special friends including Jordan Eubanks of Syracuse.

Friends may call on Friday from 4-7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, Mattydale, with a funeral service following at 7 pm.
