Barbara A. Johnston, 63, of Cicero, passed away Sunday, March 7th at home. A 1975 graduate of Cicero High School, Barbara attended O.C.C. and Columbia College. She was formerly employed as a business development representative for AAA in Liverpool for the past 10 years. Previously, Barbara worked for AT&T. She enjoyed riding motorcycles and attending rallies. She formerly was a dwarf car racer and a fan of dirt track racing especially at Brewerton Speedway. Barbara loved living near Oneida Lake and the Adirondacks. She was extremely proud of her Scottish heritage and regularly attended the Highland Games.
She was predeceased by her father, Ronald G. Johnston, in 1998.
Barbara is survived by her two children: Jessica (Gus) Papadonikos and James Pullmain, both of Spartanburg, SC; mother, Eunice Johnston, also of Spartanburg, SC; her boyfriend, Chris Amato, with whom she resided; five granddaughters: Savanna, Jasmin, Sierra, Adrianna, Pipina; and a grandson that she affectionately referred to as Junior.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 -7:00 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Funeral Services will begin on Thursday, 10:00 am, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery, Syracuse.
