Francis E. Kelly, 90, of Brewerton, died Sunday, September 21 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Francis was born and raised on the West side of Syracuse where he graduated from Most Holy Rosary High School. Francis resided at 207 Plymouth Ave in Mattydale for 30 years before residing in Brewerton for the past 35 years. He was the son of the late Francis J. and Margaret (Wait) Kelly.
Francis served the US Army during World War II in the Pacific Theater. He retired after 45 years as a Lithograph Printer at Syracuse China Corporation. Francis was a longtime member of St. Margaret's Church and was among the families that built the original structure of St. Margaret's.
He was predeceased by his wife of 44 years, the former Mary A. (Works) Kelly.
Francis is survived by his three daughters: Mary M. Kelly of Liverpool, Kathleen (Glenn) Harding of Baldwinsville, and Janet (William) Bell of Brewerton; six grandchildren: Kevin, Scott, Janny Marie, William, Alexander, and Andrew; four great grandchildren: Guinivere, William, Jenniemae, and Alexander; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Friday from 4-7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Prayer Service will begin on Saturday, 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a 10 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret's Church. Burial will be in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay.
