Margaret M. "Peggy" Kelly

Margaret "Peggy" Kelly, 55, lifelong resident of Syracuse, passed away Sunday at home. Peggy attended Blodgett School in the Syracuse City School district.

Peggy worked as a custodian for the Syracuse City School District for almost 30 years. She also worked at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center in the housekeeping department for many years. Peggy enjoyed swimming, barbeques and spending time with her family.

Peggy is survived by a son, Julio J. Huertas and her mother, Margaret J. Kelly, both of whom she resided with; her life partner and best friend of 35 years, Julio L. Huertas of Syracuse; two grandchildren: Julio Kilbourn and Sophia Huertas; a sister, Janet (Kelly) Salvetta of North Syracuse; and a brother: Robert Kelly of Mattydale.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, NY. Funeral Services are Thursday, 10:00 am at the funeral home followed by Entombment in Woodlawn Mausoleum, Syracuse.
