Marilyn Kilpatrick

November 15, 1928 — May 18, 2007

Marilyn A. Kilpatrick, 78, of Mattydale died on Friday at Sunnyside Care Center. She was a resident of Mattydale for 51 years and was the daughter of the late Leon Rohe and Catherine Corbett.
Marilyn was a graduate of North High and worked at the Salina Free Library for 20 years as a librarian assistant and also volunteered. She was a long-time member of the Mattydale Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and an avid Yankees fan. Marilyn was a communicant of St. Margaret?s church and a member of its Alter Rosary Society.
She was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Donald J. Kilpatrick in 1989. Surviving are her three daughters, Peggy Lon Startt of Fabius, Katie Kilpatrick of Cape Cod, MA, Donna Doug Kress of Houston, TX, two sons, Michael L. Kilpatrick of Mattydale, and John Susan Kilpatrick of North Syracuse, her sister, Joan Jagelle of North Syracuse, six grandchildren, Sarah, Chelsea, Rachel, James, Abigail, and Sean, and three great grandchildren, Hannah, Ceira, and James Jr.
Friends may call from 4 to7 pm Monday at the Krueger Funeral Home 2619 Brewerton Rd. Mattydale. Funeral services will be at 9:30 at the funeral home followed by mass at 10:00 am Tuesday at St. Margaret?s Church. Burial will be at Veteran?s Memorial Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Salina Free Library, 100 Belmont Street, Mattydale NY 13211. The family wishes to express their appreciation and thanks to the staff at Sunnyside for their kind and compassionate care.
