Mary Jane Kirkby

Mary Jane (Jean) Kirkby of West Palm Beach FL, formerly from Mattydale, NY passed away on August 19, 2020 at the age of 100. She was born May 26, 1920 in Grandmere Quebec Canada, to parents, Daniel and Rose Gaudet.

She was sister to Harold, Leo, Robert, Gaston, Esther Gaudet, Rita Goldstein, Claire Allare, Francis Ostler. Beloved wife to the late Kenneth R. Kirkby and survived by sons: Stephen, Daniel, Ronald Kirkby and daughter, Diane Tryon.

Known to her 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren as "Gram", she was loving, kind and compassionate. She loved riding her adult tricycle daily, watching tennis and baseball on TV and playing cards, games and jigsaw puzzles with her family.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, a private memorial service will be held on November 23, 2020 at 1:00 pm. Interment is planned for immediate family at Assumption Cemetery in Lyncourt, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to The American Heart Association.
