Stan Korszeniewski

Stan Korszeniewski, 84, of Boulevard St. Mattydale, died Friday at James Square Health & Rehabilitation Center. A native of Syracuse Mr. Korszeniewski resided in Mattydale since 1952. He was an Army veteran of WW II and served in the European Theater with the 348th Engineering Corps. Stan Retired in 1982 after 38 years as a supervisor for the General Motors Corp. in Syracuse. He was a Charter and life member of the American Legion Post #1832 and a life member of the VFW Post #3146 both in Mattydale and a member of the 348th Army Corps of Engineers Club.
He attended St. Margaret?s Church, and was predeceased by his daughter Marie Perun in December 2002.
Stan is survived by his loving wife Mary, two sons James Karen Korszeniewski of Boston, John Bernie Korszeniewski of Indian Shores, Fl, a brother Louis Korszeniewski of Liverpool, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 pm on Monday at the Krueger Funeral Home 2619 Brewerton Rd. Mattydale. The funeral service will be 11 am Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Onondaga Co. Veteran?s Cemetery.
