Carol Ann Kruger, 76, of North Syracuse, died Tuesday, April 9th, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Daughter of the late Charles and Orpha (Finney) Hughes, Carol was a lifelong resident of North Syracuse. She was a 1961 graduate of North Syracuse High and received her Associates’ Degree in Business from C.C.B.I. in 1963.
Following college, Carol worked at Crouse Irving Hospital for four years and retired in 2012 after 31 years as an accounts receivable manager for Cole Muffler in Syracuse. She was a member of Tredz Car Club and enjoyed boating on Oneida Lake. Carol also enjoyed time spent with her family and scrapbooking.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Paul F. Kruger; a son, Shawn (Jean) Emmons of Mattydale; a daughter, Stacey Emmons of North Syracuse; three step-children: Carl (Katie) Kruger of Baldwinsville, Laurie Burns of Mattydale, and Greg (Debbie) Kruger of North Syracuse; her two sisters, Dorothy (John) Ciciarelli of Clay and Peggy (Duane) Watson of Liverpool; 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
