Camille "Frenchy" Laroche, 80, of Liverpool, died Monday at his home. A native of Bourget, Ontario, he resided in Liverpool since 1962 and was the son of the late Augustin and Marion Laroche.
Frenchy worked as a foreman at New Process Gear in East Syracuse for over 30 years before retiring in 1986. He also maintained a summer camp at Brennan's Beach in Pulaski for 20 years until 2004. Frenchy was a communicant of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Liverpool.
He was predeceased by his wife, Fern in 2006.
Surviving are his three children: Diane and her husband Joseph Beloch of North Syracuse, Gill J. and his wife Pamela Laroche of East Syracuse, and Richard D. Laroche of East Syracuse; his brother Donald Laroche of Lakeland, FL; a sister Jacqueline Pierce of Mattydale; her nine grandchildren: Jason, Matt, Jeremy, Rachel, Joe, Jon, Ashley, Kaitlynn, and Monique; and four great grandchildren: Rickey, Cody, Olivia, and Tim.
Friends may call from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm Thursday at the Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Funeral services will be 10am, Friday at the funeral home.
