Fernande ?Fern? LeVasseur Laroche, 75, of 110 Sunrise Terrace, Liverpool, died Tuesday at her home. A native of Hull, Quebec, she resided in Liverpool since 1962. Fern worked in the 1960?s for several area companies in the Syracuse area including General Electric, the bakery of Top?s Super Market in the Mattydale and the Will and Baumer Candle Co. in Syracuse. Fern also maintained a Summer camp at Brennan?s Beach in Pulaski for 20 years until 2004. Fern was a communicant of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Liverpool.
Surviving are her loving husband Camille of 55 years, a daughter Diane and husband Joseph Beloch of North Syracuse, two sons, Gill J. and wife Pamela Laroche of East Syracuse, Richard D. Laroche of East Syracuse, two half brothers Michael LaVasseur and Paul LaVasseur both of Cornwall Ontario, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren
Friends may call from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9 pm Friday at the Krueger Funeral Home 2619 Brewerton Rd. Mattydale. Funeral services will be 8:45 am Saturday at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church..
