Robert "Bob" A. Leo, 44, of Nutcracker Trail in Liverpool, died unexpectedly on Friday at St. Joseph's Health Care Center. Bob was a life resident of Liverpool and graduated in 1982 from Liverpool High where he lettered in swimming all four years. He also attended Syracuse University.
He was employed by United Parcel Service as a driver for the past 25 years and a member of the Teamsters union local # 317. Bob was also a professional Wreslter and wrestled on the Independent Circuit for the past 12 years under the name "Killer Kowalski Jr.". He enjoyed playing basketball with the YMCA League and was an avid San Diego Chargers fan. Bob was also a former member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Liverpool.
Surviving are his wife of 6 years, the former Nicole Cosentino, their children Madeline and Joseph, his parents Kenneth and Roseanne Leo of Liverpool, three brothers Kenneth Susan Leo of Liverpool, Andrew Kim Leo of Cicero, Matthew Tyanna Leo of Baldwinsville, his wife's parents and brothers, Frank and Carol Cosentino, Joseph, Jeff, Roman, Alex Janina Cosentino, six nieces and two nephews.
Services will be 9 am Wednesday at the Krueger Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery Dewitt. Friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home 2619 Brewerton Rd. Mattydale. Contributions may be made in his name to a Children's Education Fund c/o HSBC Bank 3935 Rte. 31 Liverpool, NY 13090.
