Joseph Liblanc

Joseph J. Liblanc, 70, of Mattydale, passed away Wednesday ay St. Joseph's Hospital. A native of Coventry, RI, Joseph had resided in the Mattydale area for over 40 years.
He was a 1958 graduate of Coventry High School and served 12 years in the US Air Force stationed in Lakenheath England. Joseph retired in 1996 after 30 years as a shipping and receiving clerk at Bordens Research Center in Syracuse. He then worked at Ventre Packaging Company in Syracuse for several years. Joseph was an avid Yankees and Notre Dame fan as well as a communicant of St. Margaret's Church.
He was predeceased by his grandson, JohnRobert Fischer.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Yvonne; a son: Stephen Tina Liblanc of Cleveland; his daughter: Jeannine Jim Fischer of Syracuse; two brothers: Ronald Liblanc of RI and Robert Debbie Fontes of RI; his two granddaughters: Abigail and Gillian; a brother-in-law: Richard Donna Ladley of Brewerton; and a niece and four nephews.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 pm Friday at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Prayer will be held at the funeral home, Saturday at 9:00am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret's Church at 9:30am. Burial will be at Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
