Linda A. Gialto Verdow

Linda Gialto Verdow, 71, of North Syracuse, passed away Monday, April 17^th, 2023.  Linda grew up on Highland Street on Syracuse’s North Side.  She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church and a Graduate of Henninger High School (1969). She resided in Syracuse most of her life before moving to North Syracuse in the early 2000’s.

Linda was the daughter of the late Frank and Alice (Schad) Gialto and was also predeceased by two sisters, Marilyn Harvey and Carol Gialto.

Surviving are three siblings: Barbara Fritzen of North Syracuse, Frank Gialto Jr. of Liverpool, and Joanne Gialto of North Syracuse; 11 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and great nephews.

Linda was a customer service employee of Marine Midland Bank in Mattydale for many years. She also worked for Medical Answering Services.   Linda was a supporter of the Oneida Indian Nation enjoying trips to the casino and was a lifelong fan of The Beatles, especially Paul McCartney.   

As a beloved sister, friend, and aunt, Linda will be fondly remembered for her kindness, grace, and wonderful sense of humor.   After a long struggle with cancer, may Linda's soul find comfort and peace in God's eternal love and embrace.
