Joseph M. LoBello, 68, of Liverpool died on Monday at his home with his family at his side after a short illness. He was born in Syracuse and was the son of the late Frank and Cira LoBello and has resided in Liverpool since 1960. Joseph graduated in 1950 from Vocational High School and retired in 1992 after 32 years as a truck driver for the Teamsters Local 317 in Syracuse. He enjoyed spending summers at camp on Black Lake he also, enjoyed golfing. He attended Immaculate Heat of Mary Church. Joe was predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Peter LoBello, Frank LoBello, George LoBello, Josephine Lobello and Dorothy Verrillo.
Surviving are his wife the former Brenda Masters, a son Peter LoBello, of East Syracuse, four step sons, John Wilson of Ottawa Ill., Michael Wilson of Long Beach MI., Brian Wilson of Marcellus Ill., Kevin Wilson of Bartow Fl., a brother Anthony LoBello of Syracuse, and 12 grandchildren, Amber, Jacob, Ashley, Eric, Nicholas A., Nicholas D., Samantha, Matthew, Cassidy, Chad, Makenzie, Brandon.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm Thursday at the Krueger Funeral Home 2619 Brewerton Rd. Mattydale. Funeral Services will be at 11 am at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery.
