Millie Loomis

Millie J. Loomis, 75, of Campbell Rd., Mattydale died Saturday at Crouse Hospital. A native of North Creek, Millie was the daughter of the late Samuel and Sarah Rist and resided in West Haven CT for 40 years before moving to Mattydale in 2000.
She worked as a silk screen printer for many years with various printing companies in Connecticut. She was a member of the New Haven on the Green Methodist Church and St. John's by the Sea Episcopal Church, both in Conn.
Millie was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, John S. Loomis Sr. in 2006.
Surviving are two sons Duane Loomis of Mattydale, John S. Sharon Loomis Jr. of West Haven, a daughter Joanne Al D'Avino of Wallingford CT, four grandchildren John S. Loomis III, Christopher M. Loomis, Duane A. Loomis II and Maria L. Loomis.
Friends may call 7 to 9 pm on Tuesday at Krueger Funeral Home Inc., 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, NY. Services will be 10 am Wednesday at the funeral home followed by burial in Collamer Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY 990 7th North St. Liverpool, NY 13088.
