Timothy "Mac" MacCollum, 62, of Liverpool, NY, passed away Monday after a long illness. Tim had a love for life, family and friends, his dogs, sports, and of course, golf! He lived life to the fullest, from his younger days with siblings and childhood friends, through his married life with family and new friends continuing with the friends he made in later years through the fire service and beyond. He loved you all. Tim was a hard worker and took great pride in the things he accomplished. Tim dedicated many years of service at the Liverpool and Mattydale Fire Departments, was Past Chief for the Liverpool Fire Department, and also served as the Onondaga County Emergency Management Deputy Fire Coordinator as County Car 5. He worked for G.E. and Lockheed Martin before opening his business Mac's Machine and Tool in Syracuse.
Tim is survived by his wife of 37 years, the former Alicia (Brown); their three children: Timothy, Melissa, and Elaina; his mother, Dorothy MacCollum of Radisson; a brother: Thomas (Jackie) MacCollum of Baldwinsville; two sisters: Karen (Mike) Donegan of SC, and Nancy (John) Leotta of Fulton; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 27, 10:00 am at St. Joseph The Worker, 1001 Tulip St., Liverpool.
