Florence "Flo" L. MacDonald, of Marian Drive in Mattydale, died Saturday at the Francis House. Flo grew up in the Lake Placid area on the family farm and resided in Mattydale area for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Marie Wilson.
Flo retired in 1983 after more than 20 years as an Insurance Investigator for Hooper Homes in Mattydale. She also owned and operated The Clothes Box in the McKinley's Building for several years in the 1970's. Flo bowled for many years on several leagues at Strike 'N Spare and volunteered on the Judge Burnham's election committee. She was a communicant of St. Margaret's Church in Mattydale.
In addition to her parents, Flo was predeceased by her two sisters: JoAnne Osborne and Evelyn Sucheon.
Surviving are her five sons: Rand MacDonald of Mattydale, Richard (Barbara) MacDonald of North Port, Fl, Robert MacDonald of Mattydale, Scott MacDonald of Granby, Daniel (Michelle) MacDonald of Mexico; a sister and a brother: Jean Wisinski and Bill Wilson.
