Madelynn Dranschak

Madelynn "Linda" (Bielik) Dranschak, 83, of Mattydale, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023.  A native of Buffalo and resident of Mattydale since 1963, she was the daughter of the late Vladimer and Genevieve (McCauley) Bielik. She was a graduate of Mount Mercy Academy in 1957 and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1960 in Buffalo.

Linda retired after many years of working as a Registered Nurse for Crouse Hospital, and the offices of Phillip H. Rakov, MD and Stephen Weitmann, DDS. She was previously employed at Mercy and Rosewell Park Memorial Hospitals in Buffalo. She was a member of the Salina Civic Seniors, a communicant of St. Margaret's Church in Mattydale and a member of their Socialites. 

Linda is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Bernard Dranschak; three daughters: Mariesa Dranschak of Cicero, Rochelle (Jim) Fiel of Cicero, and Bethany (Paul) Adams of Hilton, NY; grandmother to Emily, Dana, and Mathew Fiel and Morgan, Carolyn and Evalyn Adams; and her brother, Walter (Joyce) Bielik of Ogden, Utah.
