Marie Martha Wieczorek

Marie Martha (Waleski) Wieczorek, 93, was called to the Lord on November 5, 2023. Marie was born on December 22, 1929, to the late Stanley and Martha (Renk) Waleski in Syracuse, NY. She grew up in Lyncourt and then lived in Mattydale and Baldwinsville. Her most current address was at the Syracuse Home at McHarrie Place in Baldwinsville.

Marie loved spending time with her family and all her special times with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She liked playing bingo, doing puzzle books, and arts and crafts and enjoyed spending time in her gardens at her home in Mattydale.

She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Alfred (Ski) Wieczorek and a brother, Edward Waleski.

Marie is survived by her three children: Barbara (Michael) Barr, John Wieczorek, and Lawrence (Christine) Wieczorek; five grandchildren: Julie (Mark) Forderkonz, Kristie (Jess) Dixon, John Wieczorek, Jaclyn Wieczorek, and Caitlin Wieczorek; and nine great-grandchildren: Allison, Madeline, Jack Forderkonz, Brayden, Bryce Dixon, Elijah, Evelyn Silver, and Alanna, Arianni Wilkins; and two sisters, Irene Waleski and Betty Avery.
