Florence A. (Schreiber) Marquart, 94, of Bailey Road in North Syracuse, died Monday, June 26th, 2017, at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Gustav Schreiber and Alice Lueck and a native of Syracuse. Florence was a graduate of North Syracuse High School and the Powelson Business School.
She worked at Crouse Hinds during the War and as a library aide at the Liverpool Central School District before retiring. She was a member of the New York State United Teachers Association and the Liverpool Faculty Association. Florence also assisted the Boy Scouts Cub Leader for Pack 199. She was an avid reader and a parishioner of Luther Memorial Lutheran Church.
Florence was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Ralph, in 2013 and by her sister, Ethel Viel, in 2017.
She is survived by their two sons, Robert (Patricia) Marquart, of Sherrill, NY and James (Michelle) Marquart, of North Syracuse; a daughter, Karen (Tony) Crupi, of Batavia; her grandchildren: Michael Crupi, Kyle and Mackenzie Marquart, and Amy Lipton; two great grandsons, Grant and Dean Crupi; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Wednesday from 5 - 7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Services are Thursday, 10:00 am, at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery.
