Grace Calogero Masterpol, 83, of Glendale Ave in Liverpool, died Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Grace was a native of Syracuse and had resided in Liverpool for over 50 years. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Fannie Calogero.
Grace retired after thirty years as a supervisor with the Marine Midland Computer Center in Syracuse. She attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Liverpool.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alexander Masterpol in 2002 as well as her five siblings Michael, Vincent, Sam and Dominick Calogero and Theresa Tutella.
Grace is survived by her two daughters: Marion Charles Byne of Liverpool, and Margaret Wollen of Buffalo; two sons: Alexander Linda N. Masterpol, Jr. and Anthony M. Masterpol, both of Cicero; her four grandchildren; her seven sisters: Joy Constantine of Kissimee, FL, Nancy Hart of Houston, TX, Rose Morris of Syracuse, Congeta Ostuni of Liverpool, Frances Burton of Liverpool, Fannie Apps of Camillus, and Angelina Salamone of Fayetteville; and her two brothers: Anthony Calogero of Liverpool, and Gerald Calogero of Manlius.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Road, Mattydale. Prayer will be on Monday; at 10:15am at the funeral home followed by mass at 11am in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Liverpool. Entombment will be in Assumption Cemetery, Wednesay at 11am.
