Mary Mazella

Mary R. Turchiano Mazella, 75, of Lyncourt, passed away Saturday at the Francis House with her family at her side. She was a native of Syracuse and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Antoinette Turchiano and has resided in Lyncourt since 1969.
Mary retired in 1989 after 18 years as an assembler for the General Motors Corp. She was a communicant of St. Margaret?s Church in Mattydale and was well known to everyone for her generous heart. Mary was a devoted animal lover and supported many animal organizations. She also enjoyed traveling, going out to dinner and spending time with her family and friends.
Mary was predeceased by her husband Samuel ?Brownie? Mazella who died in 1998. Surviving are two daughters April M. Callea of Mattydale, Doreen A. Ray Preston of Cicero, a brother Joseph L. Turchiano of Palm Bay Fl, a sister Betty Sibble of Liverpool, two grandsons Christopher, Anthony, several nieces, nephews and devoted dog Daisy.
Friends may call from 4-7pm Wednesday at Krueger Funeral Home 2619 Brewerton Rd. Mattydale. Services will be Thursday at 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by Mass at St. Margaret?s Church at 10 am. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
