Margaret McCartin

Margaret M. Ryding McCartin, 69, of Division St., Baldwinsville, died Sunday at the home of her daughters. A native of Ogdensburg she resided in the Syracuse area for most of her life before moving to Baldwinsville in 1998. She was a 1955 graduate of North Syracuse High School and retired after many years as a custodian at the Roxboro Rd. Elementary School in Mattydale.
She was a former member of St. Margaret?s and St. Rose of Lima Churches and enjoyed caring for her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her former husband William Ryding who died in 1991 and a daughter Gwen in 1969. Surviving are two daughters Yvonne O?Neil of Syracuse, Yvette Ryding of Baldwinsville, a son William Ryding and wife Cindy of Ocala FL, two brothers Hubert McCartin of Watertown, Charles McCartin of Syracuse, 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 pm Wednesday at the Krueger Funeral Home Mattydale followed by a service at 7 pm. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the family in care of the Krueger Funeral Home 2619 Brewerton Rd. Mattydale, NY 13211.
