Mary McCloat

Mary ?Molly? K. McCloat, 98, of West Molloy Rd. Mattydale, died Monday at Birchwood Health Care Center. A native of County Leitrim, Ireland, Mrs. McCloat resided in Woodmere, Long Island for 66 years before moving to Mattydale in 2003 to live with her late son Thomas.
She was a member of the Hewlett Bay Volunteer Fire Dept. ladies auxiliary, a communicant of St. Joseph R.C. Church and a member of its Rosary Society all in Long Island.
She was predeceased by her husband of 30 years Thomas E. in 1966 and a son Thomas M. in September.
Surviving are a son Gerard H.Linda McCloat of Easton, CT., a daughter-in-law Deborah McCloat of Mattydale, 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great- great granddaughter.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Tuesday at the Krueger Funeral Home 2619 Brewerton Rd. Mattydale and 6 to 9 pm Wednesday at the Moore Funeral Home Valley Stream, NY. A mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 am Thursday at St. Joseph?s R.C. Church in Hewlett. Burial will be in Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury.
