Diane (McMahon) Austin

Diane Sue (McMahon) Austin, 63, of Liverpool, passed away Sunday, May 6th, at Francis House. She was born December 4, 1954 in Schenectady, NY and moved to Syracuse in 1957. Diane graduated from Corcoran High School in 1973 and was a proud graduate of Crouse School of Nursing in 1989. She worked many years as a Registered Nurse in various capacities before becoming ill with Cancer.

Diane is survived by her loving husband, John "Jack" Austin; her daughters: Jacqueline Maser and Elizabeth Maser; step-daughters: Christine Austin and Susan (Todd) Miller; a step-son, Stephen (Sawyer) Austin; her sister, Patricia (William) Kinne, and by ten grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, John and Margaret McMahon, her aunt, Ruth McMahon, and her step-son, Brian Austin.

Her passions were reading, golf, sailing, music, puzzles, humor, and being with her family and many friends.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-6 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. A brief Funeral Service will follow at 6 pm.
