Sharon L. McMahon

Sharon L. McMahon, 71, of Fulton, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse. She was a self employed hairdresser for 40+ years, an instructor at Phillips Cosmetology School, and an avid bowler. She enjoyed adult coloring books, cross stitching and crocheting. Sharon loved time spent with her family and her almost best friend, Sandra Tupper, her dogs and a stray cat. Her all-time favorite movie was Gone with the Wind.

Sharon was predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Leola Gardner, a sister, Charlotte and brother-in-law, Elwood Sturge, her ex-husband, Richard McMahon, nephews, David and Walter Sturge, a great niece, Amy Smith, and her great granddaughter, Makynzie Griffith.

She is survived by her daughter, Angela; three grandchildren: Malinda McMahon, Douglass Bedford, and Brandon (Shelby) Chrestler; her adopted granddaughter, Brittney Baran; and by seven great grandchildren: Ian, Jacob, Avery, Peyton, Kegan, Bryce, and Alana.

Due to the current state of our nation, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
