Robert McRobbie

Robert ?Bob? McRobbie, 61 of Roxboro Circle Mattydale, died Thursday at University Hospital. He was a life resident of the Syracuse area. He was a 1964 Graduate of North Syracuse High School. Bob retired in 1981 after 16 years as a deputy Sheriff with the Onondaga Co. Sheriff?s Dept.
He was a veteran of the US Coast Guard and volunteered his time to many youth athletic organizations. He was an avid sports fan and a NASCAR enthusiast.
Surviving are his wife of 39 years, the former Kathleen DeSantis, four daughters Michele David Fehlman, Jennifer James Heins, Dyana Marek Marczynski, Margaret McRobbie, a son Robert J. Lori McRobbie all of the Syracuse area along with 10 grandchildren including Blitz, several sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 pm Sunday at the Krueger Funeral Home 2619 Brewerton Rd. Mattydale. Services will be 9:30 am Monday at the funeral home and 10 am in St. Margaret?s Church. Burial will be in St. Mary?s Cemetery in Dewitt.
