Alice R. Moore, 74, of Fulton, passed Friday, February 19, 2016. Born and raised in Fulton, Alice was a 1959 graduate of Fulton Senior High School. She lived on Kenmore Ave on the North side of Syracuse for 24 years before moving back to Fulton in 2014. Alice was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Matilda (Barton) Kiggins.
She worked at various jobs over the years including the Syracuse City School District in the cafeteria, a security guard, a line worker at Birdseye Foods, and an attendant at the Riviera Laundromat in Syracuse. Alice was a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #569 in Fulton and attended Holy Trinity Church in Fulton.
She was predeceased by her husband of 33 years, George Moore, Jr., in 1993, a daughter, Lisa Wylie, in 1993, her son, Geroge Moore, III, in 2010 and by a son-in-law, Jay Seymour.
Alice is survived by two children: Christina Seymour of Fulton with whom she resided and Michael Moore of Syracuse; one sister: Mary March of Palermo; five grandchildren: Patrick, William Jr., Corey, Harley, and Michaela; and seven great grandchildren: Owen, Nolan, Corey, Julie, Patrick, Lauren, and Dominic.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-6 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale.
