Mary Lou Moore, 73, of Constantia, died Saturday, June 25, 2016 at her daughters home after a brief illness. Mary was born in Syracuse to the late Wilfred and Ellen Peters. She was a graduate of Baldwinsville High School and lived in the Baldwinsville area until moving to Constantia for the past 40 years.
Mary was an administrative assistant for Agway until 1995 and then worked at Price-Waterhouse and Cooper until her retirement in 2008. She was an amazing artist and greatly enjoyed painting portraits of her wonderful family in watercolors and pastels. Mary had a love of sewing that showed in the many original pieces she made for her family throughout the years. She enjoyed sailing on Oneida Lake, gardening and traveling notably to Greece, Italy and Maui. Most of all Mary enjoyed spending time with her loving family.
Mary was predeceased by her husband of 35 years Gerald Moore in 2000 and a brother Robert Peters.
She is survived by 3 Daughters; Lauren (Donald) Brown of Liverpool, Shannon (Thomas) Moore Carlson of Liverpool and Erin (James Campion) Moore of New Jersey; 6 Grandchildren: Claudia, Sydney, Ty, Claire, Ava and Scarlet: A sister Joan White of Fulton and a brother Bruce Peters of Florida.
Friends may call on Wednesday June 29, from 4-7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, NY. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 10:00 am at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse.
