Theodora S. Morgan, 70, of Syracuse died Monday at home. Dora was a native of Budapest Hungary and came to the United States on February 28, 1956 as a refugee of the Hungarian Revolution. They were graciously sponsored by the Burdick family in North Syracuse.
She enjoyed sewing, reading and visiting the library. She also volunteered on occasion at the soup kitchen of her local church.
Surviving are two children Christine Peter Anderson of North Syracuse and Laszlo Zsemlye of Baldwinsville, one grandson, two sisters Ellen Vanky of Nebraska and Christine Szeplaki of Budapest and their families.
Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Krueger Funeral Home 2619 Brewerton Rd. Mattydale.
