Richard Myers

Richard L. Myers, 49, of Bernadine Apartments, Syracuse, died Wednesday after a lengthy illness. Mr. Myers resided in the Syracuse area for most of his life.
Richard was the son of the late Jack and Joyce Draper Myers. He worked as a bus driver for several years for the Golden Sun and the Golden Arrow Bus Lines until he was forced to retire in 1993 due to illness.
Surviving are a son Jack R. Myers of Syracuse, two sisters and brothers-in-law Genevieve ?Gen? and Rodney ?Rod? Graves of Brewerton, Alice and Bob Roehrig of Jesup, GA, a brother James Myers of Syracuse, a niece Bobbie Jo Roehrig, of Jesup, a nephew Peter Graves of Brewerton and a great nephew Jonathan C. Roehrig.
Funeral services will be at 3 pm Monday at the Krueger Funeral home in Mattydale. Friends may call from 1 to 3 pm Monday at the funeral home 2619 Brewerton Rd. Burial will be in the Loomis Hill Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the family for a monument fund Payable to Genevieve Graves, 5428 Guy Young Rd., Brewerton, NY 13029.
