Helen E. Nappa, 90, longtime resident of Mattydale, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020 at Loretto Nursing Home in Syracuse. Helen was born in Syracuse to the late Peter and Dora (Merril) Ronacher. She grew up in North Syracuse where she attended North Syracuse High. Helen resided in Mattydale since 1963.
She retired in 2004 after 22 years in the manufacturing division of Eagle Comtronics in Liverpool. She enjoyed playing bingo and was an avid reader who devoured romance novels.
Helen was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Nicholas, in 1990, and her son, Louis Nappa in 1972.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Marcia Nappa of Liverpool; three grandchildren: Sabrina (Nick) Manno of Freehold, New Jersey, Benjamin (Amy) Nappa of Carmel, NY, and Meredith (Steven) Maisto of Naperville, Illinois, and by 4 great grandchildren: Isabella, Luca, Skylar and Harper.

All Services were private and at the convenience of the family. Burial was in Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse.
