Betty Mae Neave, 85, of Cobblestone Apartments in Cicero, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Betty was born in Janesville, Wisconsin and lived in various areas of the country moving with her husband's job before settling in the Syracuse area in 1970. She resided in Brewerton for 10 years before moving to Cicero. She was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Esther (Copeland) Jensen.
Betty was a graduate of Abbotsford High School in WI. She worked in many retail positions including Bill Rapp Pontiac before owning and operating Phone Land at the Penn Cann Mall in the 1970's. Betty was an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling. As a native of Wisconsin, she was a longtime Green Bay Packers fan.
She was predeceased by her husband of 30 years, Richard Bruce Neave, in 1980 and by her brother, Lowell Jensen.
Betty is survived by her two sons: Daniel (April) of Liverpool, and Daryl of Syracuse; a brother, Dan Jensen of Superior, WI; four grandchildren: Casandra (Brian) Ross of Liverpool, Matthew (Melinda) Neave of Lee Center, Nicholle Neave of Cortland and Brian (Heather) Neave of Syracuse; her two step-grandchildren: Jessee and Gerald Dennee; and her ten great grandchildren: Landon, Juliana, Gavin, Kameron, Karson, Maddison, Marissa, Clayton, Audriana and Anthony.

Friends may call on Friday from 4-7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, with a 7 pm funeral service following.
