Margaret J. O'Neill

Margaret J. O'Neill, 87, longtime resident of Mattydale, died Saturday, April 13th, 2019 at University Hospital in Syracuse. Born in Oriskany to the late Leonard and Jennie (Watson) O’Neill, Margaret was a graduate of Westmoreland High School. She obtained her Associate’s Degree from Powelson Business School and worked for NY Telephone Company as a Service Order Administrator until retiring in 1991.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her brother, Carl O’Neill.

Margaret is survived by her daughters: Nancy Capurso of East Syracuse, Toni (Myron) Capurso Blackmon of Liverpool, and Kathleen Capurso of Central Square; her sons: Nicholas Capurso and Michael Williams, both of Mattydale; two brothers: Leonard (Joan) O’Neill and Donald (Diane) O’Neill, both of Vernon; a sister, Anne (Andy) Trinkaus of Oriskany; and by many grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Burial will be in Crown Hill Memorial Cemetery in Clinton, NY at the family’s convenience.
