Francis "Frank" E. Osinski, 71, of North Syracuse, passed away Friday, June 5, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Frank was born and raised in Mattydale. He graduated from North Syracuse High in 1962 and was the son of the late Joseph and Anne S. (Rojeski) Osinski.
Frank received his Bachelors Degree in Mathematics from LeMoyne College. He retired in 2003 after 35 years as the manager of Energy Management Systems for Niagara Mohawk. Frank enjoyed golf, was a voracious reader as well as an amateur historian and genealogist. He was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church where he volunteered as the money counter at Bingo for many years.
Frank was predeceased by his brother, John Osinski.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, the former Catherine "Kate" Wilcox; three children: Jim (Denise) Osinski of Morrisville, Lisa Osinski of Liverpool, and Bill Osinski of North Syracuse; a brother, Joe Osinski of FL; and his sister: Anne Marie Buss of Kirkville.

Friends may call on Thursday from 4 - 7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. A Prayer Service will begin Friday, 9:30 am, at the funeral home with a 10:00 am Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church following. Burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Liverpool.
