Rose Palencar

Rose M. Polifroni Palencar, 84, of Brookline Rd. Mattydale died Friday at her home. Born on July 10, 1922 in Syracuse, Rose was one of 13 children born of the late Joseph and Mary Polifroni. She resided in the Mattydale area for more than 40 years and was a communicant of St. Margaret?s Church.
Rose was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, John J. Palencar Christmas day, 2006. Surviving are her two sons Joseph Palencar, of Winston-Salem NC and John and his wife Marti Palencar of Jupiter Fl, 6 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, two sisters, Catherine Ruggireo of Syracuse, Connie Mastry of Arizona, two brothers, Anthony & Michael Polifroni, of Syracuse, five sister's in law, several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm at the Krueger Funeral Home 2619 Brewerton Rd. Mattydale. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 am Thursday in St. Margaret?s Church. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery.
