Josephine Pappalardo

Josephine J. Sarnuto Pappalardo, 90, of Malta Manor in North Syracuse, died Monday at her home. Josephine was a native of Erie, PA and resided in the Syracuse area for the past 67 years. She was the last surviving daughter of the late Salvatore Sarnuto and Flavia Pappalardo.
Josephine retired in 1976 after 15 years as a bookkeeper for Nor-Bar Sheet Metal in Syracuse and was a former member of the Lakeshore Country Club. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church.
Josephine was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Frank Pappalardo, in 2002.
Surviving are her two children: JoAnn Richard Vassar of Mattydale, and Frank Linda Pappalardo, Jr. of North Syracuse; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Monday from 4-7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home Inc., 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. A Prayer Service will begin on Tuesday, 10:30 am at the funeral home followed by an 11 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Rose of Lima Church. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Mausoleum, Syracuse.
