Evelyn Ann Parker (Simonds)

Evelyn Ann (Simonds) Parker, age 78, has gone home to be with our Lord on February 20, 2021. Evelyn lived a life of love and laughter. She was fun but also deeply caring with a generous soul. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and being at her home on Hyde Lake in Theresa, NY with her loving cats. She also enjoyed many seasons in Zephyrhills, Florida.

Evelyn was born and raised in the Mattydale- North Syracuse area. She graduated from North Syracuse High School in 1960 and remained very active on the 1960 Class Reunion Committee. She was employed by DHL for many years before she retired.

Evelyn is predeceased by her parents, Evelyn and Howard Simonds, and her two brothers, Howard Simonds Jr., and Fredrick Simonds.

She is survived by two children, Rob (Lisa) Parker and John (Gina) Parker. She also has many nieces, nephews, cousins, several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and two sister-in-law, Angela and Delight Simonds.

Her family would like to thank all the caregivers at Samaritan Summit Village in Watertown, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the CNY S.P.C.A., 5878 E. Molloy Rd., Mattydale, NY 13211.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 -7:00 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 am Thursday at the funeral home with burial following in Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse.
