Louis "Louie" Parolin Jr., 78, of Casual Estates, Liverpool, died peacefully Monday at the home of his sister in East Syracuse, with his loving family by his side. A native of Syracuse, Mr. Parolin resided at 409 Florida Rd., Mattydale, for 20 years be-fore moving to Liverpool in 2000. He also maintained a winter residence in Fruitland, FL, for the past 15 years. Louie retired in 1990 after 41 years with General Electric. He was a Navy veteran of WW II and later served in the NY Air National Guard with the 138th and the 174th fighter units. He was a member of the American Legion in Cicero, a member and past trustee of the Loyal Order of the Moose. Surviving are his longtime companion, Marlene Seeburger, with whom he resided; three daughters, Donna Bill Hughes of Liverpool, Ellen Kip Brightman of Syracuse, Janet Smith of East Syracuse; two sons, Louis Abby Parolin of Syracuse, Pio Kathleen Stone Parolin of Cicero; their mother, Sally Parolin of Syracuse; five sisters, Laura Mangicaro of Liverpool, Pedina Canino of North Syracuse, Rita Cooper of Syracuse, Delores Dulaney of Fairborn, OH, Paula Porcello of E. Syracuse; four brothers, Pio of Cicero, Richard of Port St. Lucie, FL, Alfred and Tarzy, both of Stuart FL; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Services will be 9:15 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church in Eastwood. Private burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery.
